The details that decide where you stop

Where it is recorded, a site’s card shows whether there is a fee, toilets, drinking water and showers, whether it is 4WD only or a backcountry site, whether you need to book, and how many it holds. Not every site has every detail, so the card shows what is known.

Dirt Map does not take bookings, but where a site has a booking, permit or website link, it is on the card. Get directions to any site from its card.

Fuel, toilets and more with Pro

Dirt Map Pro adds 65k+ places for the trip: fuel, public toilets, drinking water, showers, dump points, rest areas, and places to stay from motels to huts. Fuel stops show diesel and LPG where known. Like camp sites, they show with no signal.

Camp site details can be out of date: sites close, fees change and facilities come and go. Check with the land manager or the site before you rely on it, especially for water, and book where a site asks you to.
